Product Information
Some new, and not so new, products are changing the way we build, including but not
limited to the following:
 |
Radiant Barrier Sheathing - represents the best in energy-efficient
building technology. With RBS on the roof deck, attics stay more cool, cooling loads are reduced, and
energy consumption is lower. RBS is an energy saving upgrade and doesn't affect the warranties of shingles or
any other building products. Roofing nail punctures generally do not affect performance. With its thin,
laminated aluminum later, RBS prevents up to 97% of the radient heat in the panel from radiating into the attic --
passing an energy savings of up to 20%. |

Trex Decking - and railing products are made from a unique
combination of reclaimed wood and plastic, giving the best qualities of both materials. The plastic
shields the wood from moissture and insect damage, so there is no rotting or splintering. The wood protects
the plastic from UV dmage and gives a deck a solid, natural feel. It looks great year after year. And,
because there is no need to spend hours repairing or staining, the enjoyment of a Trex deck is truly timeless.
Unlike wood surfaces, Trex:
- requires no stains or sealants for protection
- will not rot or deteriorate due to harsh weather
- is available in two textures - wood grain or smooth
- is available in several color options to suit any home style
- contains no toxic chemicals or preservatives
- resists moisture, insects and sunlight
- has excellent traction, even when wet
- doesn't crack
An added benefit of a Trex deck is that owners are helping the environment, as Trex is made primarily of
recycled plastic grocery bags, reclaimed pallet wrap and waste wood. |
